Promise Nyalungu is from Thohoyandou in Limpopo South Africa. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in International Relations from the University of Venda (Univen) and a certificate in International Business Administration and Leadership from Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University in Germany. Promise is currently enrolled for a Bachelor of Arts Honours in International Relations at Univen and was recently appointed as an Innovation Champion for Local Economic Development at the university’s Institute for Rural Development.
Promise’s business, Struu Artzz Africa Network, is a socially driven establishment that uses theatre and creative arts to develop the skills of young people in rural areas and creates opportunities for them to realise their dreams and explore their talents. The company offers exclusive world-class African entertainment and marketing services to corporates, institutions and communities through graphics, film, and performance arts productions, such as poetry, stage drama, music and dance. Its vision is to see an enduring artistic community, which uses creative art as a tool for economic growth, job creation and establishing a support network for rural and underprivileged communities in the remote areas of South Africa and beyond.
