Born in Soweto, Nandi is a womxn-presenting photographer and director, whose work is inspired by showcasing the unconventional beauty of underrepresented groups and sexual inclinations. As an emerging artist, she focuses on skin tone, the human form, solid colours, shadows and contrasts and symbolism.
At the age of 29, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, it wasn’t long before she began tapping into her artistic abilities. She is now the owner of KINGNANDI & Co., a black womxn-owned, full-service co-operative offering photographic stills and video graphic production, with artistic direction and corporate services. Based in Johannesburg, but operating country wide, KINGNANDI & CO. is a network of experienced creative individuals.
